Dropbox gives you the ability to share your files with multiple computers over the internet.  So you could work on a file at home, save it, then go to work and open that same file with the most recent updates to continue to work on it.  We tried it out and it works great.  It is a simple install on whatever computers you want to use this on and they even allow up to 2GB of storage free.

It is available on Windows, Mac, Linux and even iPhone/iPod.
